peace child <idea but not sure how to use it yet :P)in africa there are a few tribes who practice the idea of a peace child. there was once a missionary working within a tribe and he felt that he could not reach them because they were always at war with another near by tribe. the very day he was going to give up and leave the tribe decided to do the only thing they know to stop the war. the chiefs of both of the tribes exchanged sons (the eldest because they are the next chiefs). each tribe would then raise the children as their own. the promise being that while the children live there would not be war. for obvious reasons it automatically stopped hostility as both chiefs were afraid of loosing their sons.
i have no idea how to work this type of idea in but i love the imagery of it because most games are hack and slash and battle, where as within this story it is a story of hope and peace. it could maybe be a sub quest or even maybe a goal to work toward to bring peace to the continent or maybe even just a story told in keeps and inns.

Hmm thats an interesting idea. I wouldn't know what to do with it to be honest. Perhaps I can use it to outline some customs and traditions with tribes in the uncivilized parts of Rhydin.. Hmm, if you can come up with a story for this, I may be able to work some sort of quest out of it. Like have the players run errands to and from the sons, to thier fathers... Attempting to break the peace, or encourage it.
