I'd like to implant a world map with the Rhydin Planes. The way the map transitions is going to work is that they can only be accessible(traveled to) when they've been visited previously. In the beginning of your character's life the map will be viewable but with no locations available. Save for the starting city. As you explore, you'll find other locations. You can "port" back to these cities using caravans, that charge a fee.

The only problem is ... I need a map. If anyone can design a map for me. I'd love to put it into use asap. It can be any size, think of the default map provided by nwn2 previously. Something along those lines. Make sure it has forests, mountains, deserts, snowy areas, rolling plains, ..etc. Let me know what you guys can come up with.

I've been designing areas like crazy the passed few weeks, and I have a pretty good feeling the PW will be ready very soon to launch. I'll be posting some screen shots soon.

Wish I could draw. I'd have made a map for Modern Earth in Loladins of Legend, one for the "Good" side, and one for the Cold Place.

edit - Maybe some generator programs, like terragen, would come in handy for this sort of task.

Thats a good idea.. But I dont have those programs.. And to be honest I dont really have the artistic skill to pull something like that off.. Maybe Nathrieban can do something.. Hey Nathri? What do you say?

First of all, the words "launch" and "soon" have a VERY nice ring to them when used together Laughing

As for a map, I've never managed to get the knack of drawing those, I always had to resort to semi-3D photoshopped maps - so, I can only help if those are okay, too.

The classes that were eating on my spare time the last couple of weeks end on monday, so if you provide me with a basic outline, I'ld be happy to try coming up with something - just give me a day or two to check into all those other hobbies I've been neclecting since February Wink

I can't agree more, Nathrai.... This project has been very consuming, and with distractions like the VFX Pack, and providing assistance to other PWs.. it has certainly taken it's toll. I just hope it comes back in fold. How soon exactly the launch will be is in a matter of weeks really. I basically plan to start the world off with a starting city, the areas around it, and a few dungeons. And then when its live, and drawing more people (hopefully) I can work on expanding. Don't worry though, There will be enough things to explore during that stage. Think of the MMO; World of Warcraft, where a series of quests that conicide with the overall story. That proceed your character not only through levels, but through the landscape that is .. Draconis. Don't worry, its nothing like WoW. Just the idea of the quests I took and remastered. As I draw to a finish of this first stage I will submit an announcement explaining more in detail about it. Think I've said to much about it already. Hehe. Just very excited.
