i really dont know much about Rhydin. It may help if i have an idea of what people are like there. i did some searching for the name and didnt find a whole lot but having read the forums here gave me some ideas.

I can understand your worry of not knowing much about Rhydin. Alot of people have asked me the same things. Whats it about? What type of people live there? Is it heavily magical? In all honesty I don't know, and thats what I like about it. The way I have Rhydin set up mechanically as a PW is that when players join they will have a choice to pick 1 of two sides. Rhydin or Moon'Dalle. These two factions are at war with another for control over the continent. It isn't so much good vs evil, becuase in truth it's the people who judge that. If a rhydin member does quests for the good of RHydin's benefit in the war, that would appear to be evil to those who joined Moon'Dalle. And vise versa for the player in Moon'Dalle who does quests that aid against Rhydin.

I would love to say that the World of Rhydin is a tapestry of rich history, and depth. That the very land was once the nexus to all currents of magic. That it now lays dorment in deep slumber, and most of it's strength has faded from time. Many of the cultures ban the use of magic, due to those who would abuse it. However, for those who truly do want to master it's arcaic properties, then quests and knowledge must be attained first. But then all that only focuses on magic-users, what about the rogues, warriors and monks ? It's hard to come up with it all on the fly, which is why i seek help.
